Thought about this place today

I'm not sure why this place popped into my head. It's been 12 years since Metroid Prime Hunters was released, and still a very long time since I had any contact with any of you. Truth be told, I don't expect anyone to read this, at least not anytime soon. I guess I'm more writing it for myself than anything. Back when this place was in full swing, I was only 14 years old. I remember most of you being surprised at how young I was, so you must all be either in your 30s or close to it by now, since I'm 25 (26 in a few days). TKE was really my first step into online gaming, before TKE I had no online friends, I just had my small group of high school friends. It meant so much to me at the time, and I know I wasn't the only one. These days, I play competitive Smash Bros (Wii U, not Melee) and so most of my friends are from that. I also go by a different username now. Some of the guys in our local community are the age I was when I started out here in TKE, and it got me thinking, the way I see them now must be the way you guys saw me. Seeing how much they appreciate us older players being around made me realize just how cool it was that you guys all accepted me here, and I'll be grateful for that as long as I live. If there's one thing I regret from the old days, it's not finding a way to keep in contact with you guys. It's been 10 years at least since anyone other than me posted here, so I'm not expecting anyone to make a return. As life goes on, I'm sure many of you no longer even play video games, or if you do, completely different ones from the ones you played in 2006/2007. As I wrote at the start, I don't expect anyone to read this, but I may as well leave a trail. On the off chance you see this, shoot me a message using either one of the links below. I don't care if you were a member from day 1 or only for a week or two, I'd love to hear from you. If you can't remember your account info, make a new account. Have a good one, TKE.
